  Had two new front tyres and break pads fitted here recently.. immediately after having the work done i noticed a grinding noise when applying pressure to the break and also a whistling when driving.. we took the car back in and one of the mechanics looked it over on the drivers side and told my partner it was nothing that they had done but was down to wear and tear on the car and that the abs pump was the only thing the noise could be.. after taking the car away the noise got worse we returned to the garage and without inspection we were told it needed new discs.. I took it straight to my regular garage and he fixed it in a matter of minutes.. he said the pads weren't of very good quality and that they had been fitted poorly without lubricant.. when I told him what I had paid (£90 pads and labour) he laughed and when I told him he wanted another £90 for the new discs he said that they were basically having us off.. we won't be returning to the tyre outlet and would advise anyone else to think twice.
